Anti-Terrorism Day Celebration, on 21 May 2018
On May 21st 2018, Anti-Terrorism Day was celebrated in Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College. Students actively participated in Pledge taking, Debate, Panel Discussion and lecture.

Students conversed about Bio-weapons, terrorist role and their role in the ruin of harmony and peace of our nation. They highlighted that terrorism must be eradicated at any cost to promote social and economic prosperity.

In panel discussion, students discussed the threat of Terrorism and the importance of being socially responsible citizen and they should cultivate the habit of campus community to achieve success in their task.

Dr. T. Shanthi, Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry gave lecture on Anti-Terrorism. She quoted the saying of Buddha that, "Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned" and stressed that terrorism is the biggest threat to humanity. On the whole, it is inculcated that the students should join their hands to eliminate terrorism from our planet.
